I drove down to St Catharines the other week and spent the morning Old Toronto Maple Leafs’ Brian Cullen at his car dealership. Appropriately named Brian Cullen Motors. Very nice man, very nice dealership and even nicer office! I did a nice portrait of Brian in his office at his desk. It’s nice to finally be able to post these photos taken with association with Sportauthentix. I definitely have a back logs of photos from over the past couple years.
Found out this afternoon that cover photo I shot of David Clarkson for an issue of The Hockey News came out this morning, or at least that’s what I was told, BUT apparently it comes out Sept. 9th which is what I thought!!! Someone had sent me an instagram of the retail cover. Got excited there for a second So honored to be one of the first people to photograph David Clarkson as a Leaf. Thank you so much to Bruce Bennett for the recommendation to The Hockey News, as well as thank you to everyone at The Hockey News. It was a pleasure! Let hope this is the first of many covers to come!

"Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" It happens, it’s annoying sometimes but you get used to it. You can’t expect your work not to be copied when you make things public. I’d rather people enjoy my work, then it sit abandoned on some dusty hard drive. At least this person was a little creative. Never had any of my work turned into a GIF, even though it’s small I got a good kick out of it. Thanks for keeping my name on it at least!
I had the great pleasure of working with Pavel Bure over the weekend. I grew up watching him play in Vancouver. I never had the chance to meet while we we’re in Vancouver 20 years ago. It was a great honor and pleasure to finally meet him, but to work with him as well made they whole evening that much more special. Definitely a highlight of my year.
Pavel was in Toronto this weekend for his Hockey Hall of Fame induction. The first Vancouver Canucks to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. I glad I was able to be a apart of his trip back to Canada.

Congrats to Mats Sundin on being inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame!
I had the great pleasure of working with Mats this past February when he was in town for his jersey number retirement with the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Air Canada Center!
Great guy, I hope to work with him again in November when he’ll be back for the induction ceremonies!

The former Leafs captain was announced Tuesday afternoon as one of four players to enter the hall as part of the 2012 class.
“Three years have passed since I retired and it makes me realize how privileged I was to play my entire career in Canada, where hockey really matters,” said Sundin. “Having my hobby and love for a sport become my livelihood really allowed me to live out my dream.”
Congratulation to Jonathan Quick and the rest of the Los Angeles Kings on being the 2012 Stanley Cup champions. More so congrats to Willie Mitchell, my boy from Vancouver Island! Wish I could be there when you bring the cup fishing!!
